We have put on the past two Ugandan Hip Hop Summits and are eagerly waiting to host the hip hop mayhem that this year’s execution will hold in store!

We are currently looking for international musicians who would like to participate at this year’s event. We are encouraging the rise of hip hop within Uganda through events like this and we desire for the people to see outside musicians who have found solid ground in their art coming out to show support to the communities of Africa and make solid this global network of heads.

These are free shows we put on throughout the various regions of Kampala city simply to show appreciation to the community there and provide a good time. It is through these sorts of events that the children in the region can see their role models acting their part upon the stage.

We execute these shows whenever the situation fits best within the region. We are currently seeking any organizations or people which would like to be apart of these events with us in connecting with the communities we reach.

The Bavubuka Hip Hop Festival is a culmination of our ideas and values set into action. Bringing young artists and future leaders from around the world to take part in ground level interaction that allows hands on experience for artists and children alike.  With Artist and Children Workshops, Music Industry Forums, Opportunity and Distribution Lectures, Film Fest and Music Concerts, we will bring the youth of Uganda a unique look into a Creative future structured by Community, Trust, and Art.

Our goal is to be the leading example to the world of what you can do as an individual and as part of a greater collective of like-minded visionaries. We ask you to join us in this revolutionary cause for the future of the youth not just in Africa, but the world.

We have many Vancouver based events planned for the 2007 year in Canada and our sights are set on hosting and creating events across the country and also throughout the United States. We will be updating this section when we are closer to the events executions. We will be sending out invites to the various events through the email list, so hop on there!
