Here we have the inner city scenes of Kampala in a musical form, this was originally done for our presentation at the AMAKULA (http://www.amakula.com) film festival which happens once a year in Kampala.

This gives a brief view into the time we spent on our first stays in Gulu town northern Uganda. We are getting ready to operate one of our first regional Youth Homes in Gulu with these youth as we continue plans for a community center in the region in the near future.

Yet another example of a Bavubuka All*Star in the making, Maurice is a struggling musician who has decided to reach beyond the typical genres being displayed through out Ugandan pop artists... his lyrical skills are out of this world and we eagerly look forward to bringing him to North America for the "Bavubuka Tour" in 2008-09

This video was shot in late 2005 during our first trip in Uganda. It was a time when we were exploring the possibilities of our ideas coming into action within the country, a exploration which proved to be very empowering. This video features our first Bavubuka All*Star Group:
"TheNew Hope Squad", the song is about the effects of aids and is meant to empower individuals to come together in the fight against the disease.

This Video Is a Collaboration of East African Hip Hop Artists trying to Unite their three countries through the music. "UTAKYE" = Uganda, TAnzania, KenYa. For info on East African affairs look here
